Goons will always go where we don't belong. This specific group has been evicted several times and keeps coming back despite the entire wormhole community being aligned against them. They are extremely well humored, and I don't expect them to stop trying anytime soon.
All the Wormhole CSM and wormhole leader types are always talking about how they want more and more people in wormholes to give fights. These guys will give you fights.
I can see why the wormhole community might not like goons. lol |

They have more guts than some other groups I've seen floating around. everyone keeps calling it a blob how many ships do you guys think it will take to break 4 RR chimeras in a pulsar lol plus 2 nags You won't ever catch a goon complaining about ~the blob~ lol.
Michael1995 wrote:Most 'major' C5/C6 groups run on the rule that if you give fights you won't be evicted. Now sure, the fight was given after the eviction had started, but if they haven't called it because they got "gufites" then they're just hypocrites, and deserve to have their home burnt down as well.
To top that off, most of those guys were the AUTZ shift, and they'll take just about any fight due to the scarcity of content in their TZ. lol |

Rek Seven wrote: Are your wormhole activities sponsored/supported by your alliance?
Tusen Takk wrote: Sponsored as in reimbursed? Nope. Sponsored as in we are allowed to? Yup.
I'd probably have to get the reimbursement director an oxygen tank due to him possibly passing out from laughing too hard. The alliance/directorate do nothing to sponsor, fund, or reimburse wormhole activities. Anyone goons in a wormhole are there because they want to be there and are looking for that challenge. Despite the famous ~Blob life~ reputation we have, you'll find goons doing small gang roaming in syndicate/placid/etc, blops in the east, and gatecamping/hotdropping in provi. Holesquad might have 50-60 dudes across all the timezones. Most of the bros in the hole actually have an another combat alt in syndicate in AU/EU/US tz. If someone pings for WH ops, they login WH duders. If someone pings for a syndicate roam, they'll login to those dudes with their WH characters posed up. Generally speaking there is a lot of overlap between squads and general activities. We've found that variety helps with short attention spans and staving off burn out.
Senn Denroth wrote: This here, is what I admire. I couldn't stand for not playing the game that I pay for, even if we're out-numbered we will normally find a way of bringing a fight. This is the same attitude that Whale Girth showed when KILL invaded (not evicted) disavowed's home. We got the fight, and we left, they proved us wrong on our claim they couldn't provide a fight.
This on the other hand looks like pure eviction out of spite, envy, anger, :whatever:. Sorry you had to experience it but yea, there are douches in this world.
GL finding another home and whatever. Give us a yell if you need help.
To be fair, our mainfleet crews have evicted lots of people from 0.0 over the years, so the various people that have splintered off from 0.0 entities for WH life probably harbor some resentment. lol |

Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts that are designed to personally berate or insult another forum user. Posts of this nature are not beneficial to the community spirit that CCP promote and as such they will not be tolerated.Thread reopened. There goes my response. I was going to point out to everyone that Osiris Ettnie had been in Soco when they lost delve/querious/detorid and then helped NCdot lose Tribute/Vale of the silent. I wouldn't need to point out that he went to W-space because he couldn't cut it in nullsec. Mostly likely being the reason he was so eager to evict goons who live in w-space from w-space.
I guess I can't do that now.

More along the lines of I remember campaign timelines, and I just flipped back to eve-kill and looked at kills and hit "next month" about 5 times. Didn't take much to figure out that you are a washed-up, has-been. lol |

Osiris Ettnie wrote: The fact that you think someone who couldn't cut in null could in a WH just shows how much knowledge you have of the game. Setting anchor and pressing F1 is not PvP my friend i hate to break it to you. Hence the reason I left. I FCed and went on the huge fleets in null and got my fill. It was fun for the first bit but got very boring fast and realized where the true PvP and fun in this game lye. Not in the kiss the ring null sec politics or the 10% tidi or simply locking a target and pressing F1. Take BNI for example its easy for them to succeed in null but coming into a WH and having success yeah well good luck.
Man I can't remember the last time I just pressed F1 in this game. All of the gameplay that I partake in requires actual critical thinking by the individual pilots. From blops, ceptoring, frig fleets, t3 fleets in syndicate, hotdrops, gatecamp, to wh roams, it all requires skill. You just flew with myopic organizations that didn't offer more to their players.
Dropbears from BNI are still in WHs. BNI succeeds in null because everyone is leaving them alone.

Tung Yoggi wrote:I don't personally have any issue seeing goons in wormholes, nor i have any issue seeing them in 0.0.
However, any attempt at taking an AAA-like stance (" we are going to control w-space") should be met with excessive force, just like any attempt at taking most of nullsec space (hi N3). Definitely not trying to do that at all. We know all about power projection and influence limitations.
We just want to have some fun and make other wormholers bleed along the way. lol |
